The Future of Ukrainian Agriculture: Strategies for a Sustainable and Competitive Industry

The 11th International Grain Conference, Grain Ukraine 2026, scheduled for June 4-5 in Kyiv, will set the stage for a comprehensive discussion on the future of the agricultural sector. The theme of the year is “The New Grain Order,” which shifts the focus from short-term forecasts to long-term strategic analysis and development planning over a horizon of 20-25 years.

Key topics to be discussed include:

– Determining Ukraine’s competitiveness by 2050: will it be driven by scale, efficiency, processing, or position in global supply chains?

– Bioenergy: strategic bet, energy independence, or overhyped expectation?

– Is Ukraine building logistics for the future, or still working with outdated infrastructure?

– Balancing dependence on the EU market and the need for global market diversification.

– Who will shape the future of Ukrainian agriculture – the government, business, or geopolitics?

During the conference, there will be panel discussions on the future of the agricultural sector, geopolitics, investments, energy, and market transformation:
